Our vertically integrated team brings together a diverse group of skill sets and real estate backgrounds that embody the values propelling StoneRiver’s long-term success.
Benny currently serves on the Board of Directors of First Commercial Bank, Security Engineers, StoneRiver, Fenwick Brands, American Pipe and Supply, and the Auburn University Foundation. Additionally, he serves as Chairman of the Joseph S. Bruno Charitable Foundation. He was a director of Bruno’s Corporation until 1995, when the company was sold to KKR.
Benny is a graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Finance and a Master’s in Public and Private Business from Birmingham‐ Southern College.
Joseph graduated cum laude from Hampden-Sydney College with a B.A. in Mathematical Economics. He earned a Master’s in Financial Mathematics from Florida State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama.
Prior to joining StoneRiver, Jeff was the CFO for Asset Management and Consulting Services (AMCS), a multifamily real estate investment firm in South Carolina. Prior to AMCS, Jeff led the finance and treasury operations of Savannah College of Art and Design where he developed their fund management strategy and managed the leased/owned real estate holdings.
Jeff graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Banking & Finance, and he received an M.B.A. from Emory University.
Prior to joining StoneRiver, Jim served as a Partner for RSM US, the leading U.S. provider of audit, tax, and consulting services to middle-market clients.
Colin is a member of the Rotary Club of Birmingham, the Advisory Board for the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Monday Morning Quarterback Club, and the New Element Board for the McWane Center. Prior to joining StoneRiver, Colin was a partner in the Banking and Corporate groups at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP. Colin graduated from Randolph-Macon College with degrees in Business/Economics & Political Science, and he received his law degree, with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law.

Mollie joins StoneRiver from an independent wealth management firm where she served as Market President. In her career, Mollie has worked with individuals, families, endowments, and foundations to provide holistic management in a fiduciary capacity. Mollie is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham and the Alabama Association of Charitable Gift Planners.
Mollie graduated from the University of Mississippi with a B.S. in Business Administration with majors in Banking and Finance and Managerial Finance. Mollie is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association’s National Graduate Trust School.

Amy has 15+ years in Human Resources with experience leading recruiting, benefits, and employee relations. Prior to joining StoneRiver, Amy was Director of Human Resources at The Altamont School. Prior to The Altamont School, Amy was a Consultant with Lee Hecht Harrison in Birmingham, AL.
Amy graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Business Administration with an Accounting major.
Prior to joining StoneRiver, Catherine was a Regional Vice President with a Birmingham-based property management company, where she worked with a wide range of developers and operators in various commercial real estate sectors, developing expertise in both lease ups and stabilized properties. Catherine oversaw the successful lease ups of The Pizitz Building, The Denham Building, 20 Midtown, and Flats on 4th.
Catherine is an active member of the Greater Birmingham Apartment Association and NextGen CPM Leaders Program with the Institute of Real Estate Management. She is an Accredited Commercial Manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management and a CPM Candidate.
Joseph graduated cum laude from Hampden-Sydney College with a B.A. in Mathematical Economics. He earned a Master’s in Financial Mathematics from Florida State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama.
Prior to joining StoneRiver, Tommy served as Vice President of Acquisitions for a real estate private equity firm in Boston where he sourced new investment opportunities throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, as well as secured debt financing instruments and negotiated transaction processes. In addition to his work in acquisitions, Tommy has experience in real estate private credit, where he originated debt financing instruments across the capital stack.
Tommy received his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s in Finance from the University of Alabama.

Prior to joining the StoneRiver team, Donald was in investment sales, serving as Director for a privately-held multifamily advisory firm where he was involved in over $1B in transactions across the Southeast. In that role, he sourced business and managed transactions to help clients achieve their goals.
Donald, a native of Birmingham, received a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. from The University of Alabama.
Blake, a native of Tuscaloosa, received a B.S. in Marketing and Management and an M.B.A. from The University of Alabama.
Prior to joining the StoneRiver team, Taylor Marie led a team in financial reporting and analysis for a rapidly growing technology company. She started her career in public accounting as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Taylor Marie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Samford University with a B.S. in Business Administration majoring in Accounting and Finance. Taylor Marie also holds a Master’s in Accountancy from the University of Georgia.
Joseph graduated cum laude from Hampden-Sydney College with a B.A. in Mathematical Economics. He earned a Master’s in Financial Mathematics from Florida State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama.
Stuart graduated from Sewanee, The University of the South with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He also earned a Master of Building Construction from Auburn University where he received the department’s “Outstanding Graduate Student of the Year” award.
Prior to joining StoneRiver in 2020, Paul spent several years in commercial construction management, focusing on heavy commercial and high-profile design projects where he was responsible for design coordination, estimating, and construction management of projects in the Southeast.
Paul graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in construction management and earned the Cooperative Education degree for students while completing one year of full-time employment during their curriculum.
Prior to joining the StoneRiver team, Emily worked in accounting with The Bissell Companies and Trammell Crow Company and was the Firm Administrator for Forensic Strategic Solutions.
Emily is a native of Birmingham and received a B.S. in Finance from Auburn University. She is a former member of the Board of Directors for Southminster Day School and the Junior Board of Directors for the Birmingham Zoo.

Nino received a B.S. in mathematics, summa cum laude, from Birmingham-Southern College and a J.D., with honors, from The University of Chicago Law School.

Prior to joining StoneRiver, Kristy was the Marketing Director with Signature Homes where her wide range of knowledge and experience in marketing strategy, website design, digital marketing, and branding made significant contributions to growth and profitability. She has over 10 years of marketing experience and received a B.S. in Marketing from the School of Business at Jacksonville State University.

Prior to joining SRPM she served Engel Realty in Leasing, Management and Marketing and TriBridge Residential as a Community Manager. She has a proven track record as a dedicated manager with a strong work ethic and the ability to build lasting client relations, while keeping the owners’ interests in mind. Key areas of expertise include systematized operations, creation and implementation of budgets, staff development, revenue enhancement, cost control and problem solving. She is a Birmingham, Alabama native and proud graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Prior to joining SRPM, Ryan spent ten years serving Bell Partners in all roles of multifamily maintenance, most recently serving as both the Maintenance Manger and Renovation Coordinator for a 300 unit, $2.3 million dollar property renovation. Ryan is a Birmingham native.
Prior to joining StoneRiver, Tori was a Property Manager with a Birmingham-based property management company, where she worked with a wide range of ownership groups, studying market trends in a competitive downtown market, and built dynamic teams. Tori earned her CAM credentials in April 2020, and her CAPS credentials in February 2022.

Prior to joining the StoneRiver team, Chelsea led a multi-million dollar full-property renovation for a 350-unit property in Auburn, AL.
Chelsea has 10+ years in Property Management experience ranging throughout multiple markets in the Southeast. She began her career in Student Housing while attending Auburn University, graduating with a B.S. in Human Resource Management and Marketing. Her education, coupled with her experience, has helped her success in managing properties of all styles and classes. Chelsea has overseen many value-add projects and managed lease-up properties of all sizes.
Prior to joining StoneRiver, she served as a Regional Manager responsible for over 10,000 units - Managing a staff of over 15 plus properties all while serving as the liaison between ownership and investors and acquisition and sale teams. During her tenure working in Commercial Real Estate, Tiffany focused on the financial side of Management. Outside of day-to-day Property Accounting, she led Special Projects and Software Implementations.
Tiffany graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Degree in Criminal Justice and is currently pursuing her master’s degree.

Prior to joining StoneRiver, Tim was Vice President of Accounting for Graham Commercial Properties where he played a lead role implementing the financial processes for the firm’s fund platform. Previously, Tim served as the Director of Accounting for Colonial Properties Trust where his team supported the company’s multifamily and commercial divisions.
Tim graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Accounting and received a Master’s in Accountancy.
Prior to joining StoneRiver, Michael was Vice President of Accounting for Eddleman Corporation, a real estate development company in Alabama, where he was responsible for the financial and accounting operations.
Michael graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. and Master's in Accounting.

Mike has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, including with the City of Hoover, Alabama; Chester’s International; and Harbert Management Corporation, where he provided strategic and operational technology services for businesses units with multiple locations.
Mike graduated from Huntington College with a B.S. in Business Management.
Missy has over 20 years of experience in various industries, including health, research, recruitment, and management.
Missy graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Health Promotion, minoring in Business, and a Master’s in Sport and Fitness Management from Troy University.
