StoneRiver Company is pleased to welcome Jacob Linsky as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets and Investor Relations, further strengthening the firm’s leadership team and expanding the resources dedicated to serving StoneRiver’s growing network of investors and capital partners. Linsky will be based in StoneRiver’s new Atlanta office as the company establishes a permanent presence in the market.

Jacob will lead StoneRiver’s capital-raising efforts as a senior member of the Capital Markets and Investor Relations team, working alongside the company’s executive leadership, Investments team and other departments across the organization to deepen existing investor relationships, cultivate new relationships and support StoneRiver’s funds and individual investment opportunities.

Strengthening Our Investor-Focused Team

Jacob’s appointment represents StoneRiver’s continued investment in the people and resources supporting its investor community.

As StoneRiver’s investment platform continues to grow and its investor relationships expand, the Capital Markets and Investor Relations team allows the company to maintain the high level of access, communication and relationship management its investors expect while creating additional capacity to cultivate new relationships.

Deep Experience in Multifamily Capital Markets

Jacob brings more than a decade of experience in multifamily investment, fundraising, investor relations and capital markets.

Prior to joining StoneRiver, he spent 10 years with an Atlanta-based multifamily real estate investment firm, most recently serving as Director of Capital Markets. Throughout his career, Jacob has been involved in more than $1 billion in capital formation supporting multifamily acquisitions and developments and has cultivated relationships with more than 300 investors and capital partners, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, registered investment advisors and institutional investors.

His experience extends beyond capital raising. Earlier in his career, Jacob underwrote multifamily acquisition, development and recapitalization opportunities throughout the Southeast and gained direct experience in investment modeling, due diligence, debt placement, equity structuring and asset management.

Prior to entering the multifamily industry, Jacob worked with KPMG, serving clients in the banking, capital markets and private equity sectors.

Expanding StoneRiver’s Presence in Atlanta

Jacob’s appointment also coincides with StoneRiver’s expansion into Atlanta, where the company will establish a new office and permanent presence.

The Atlanta office represents another step in StoneRiver’s continued growth throughout the Southeast and will provide the firm with a full-time presence in one of the region’s leading business and investment centers. With Jacob based in Atlanta, StoneRiver will be positioned to further strengthen relationships with existing investors and capital partners in the market while developing new relationships across the region.

“As StoneRiver continues to grow, it is important that we continue investing in the team and resources that support our investors,” said Joseph Welden, President and Chief Investment Officer of StoneRiver Company. “Jacob brings tremendous experience in multifamily capital markets and investor relations, and his addition gives us greater capacity to deepen the relationships we have built while continuing to expand our investor network. Establishing a permanent presence in Atlanta further supports that effort and our long-term growth across the Southeast.”

Jacob earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, a Bachelor of Science and Education in Sports Management, and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia.
